Ford ETIS wiring diagrams to PDF

Postby BHM » Sat Jan 13, 2018 11:16 am

Hi,
currently copying images as print PDF's but some of the quality is a bit low. I have subscribed for a day to ETIS and following LOOTS advise, but image quality is a bit poor.

I am copying image via copy command on ETIS and pasting to WORD. Then print to PDF, but when blowing-up image to see small stuff the quality is a bit poor.

Any suggestions?

Cheers for the reply, :D
I found that the mechanical repair documents and diagrams would copy straight over and I could view them OK.

The trouble I was having was with the wiring diagrams, which were in some scalable vector graphic do-dah format.

Now FordETIS recommended downloading the Adobe SVG plug-in, but this appears to be quite obsolete and only required to view the diagrams, which I could already do via my browser.

The problem I had was the viewable window within the browser is quite small for viewing a whole diagram and naturally if I X2 zoomed it I could only see half of the diagram in a floating format.
The windows copy command would only copy what is viewable at the time, so I copied the top half, pasted, then bottom half and pasted. So I got nice images that if I magnify show all the details in an easy to read format. There were lots of images necessary for my specific vehicle, but still half of all available, took a few hours over the 1 Day access.

I now need to purchase another day for the mechanical/repairs as I ran out of time on the wiring diagrams themselves. Just a note both access licenses run concurrently even if you have not accessed one of them, they appear to operate from time of purchase.
