My '95 TCI now she has been tweaked a bit more give me 26mpg over 350 miles :shock:

Around town its about 22 :(

Filled up Transit 190 LWB 2.5D 1991 H REG.
Filled up at (95.9p per ltr £55) at good old Morrisons and got 405 Miles out of it well happy, works out around 32 miles per gallon. Not bad for this old work horse.

(':D')Just completed a round trip of 250 miles in my 70ps 2.5 di Motorhome all on Motorway I have the pump turn up 1.25 turns Filled up before I left.filled up on return . Made 38 to the Gallon I have translated this calculations form Kilometres and litres. 55 to 65 mph.

went to cornwall put it £80 quid did just over 350 miles and had to fill up again

aparently it was doing about 18 mpg but i had 4 adults 4 kids in it fully loaded with luggage and towing a medium trailer so i dont think its that bad

Quite hard to work out your MPG from that, the best way to do it is as Luke describes in the first post.

Mk4 2.5 diesel, never carries any load (apart from a 16st driver), 202,000 on the clock, 38mpg average, up to 42.1 on a 40mph tour of Ireland.

Being now totally converted to metrical I don't know what MPG means,but I get over 8.9ltr per 100km.
I've checked it a half dozen times

my mk6 is 35- 38mpg avarage well pleased with that
considering its got some more ponys under the hood! :lol: :lol:

8.9 liter per 100 km = 26.428605 miles per gallon

Tourneo (used as Taxi)125ps low roof 2005 with 90,000 on the clock measured over 5,500 thousand miles 28.5mpg could get more but i need to drive hard a lot of the time.mostly around town but with some motorway work as well but not much maybe 3%

98, semi-high 135k. its a 2.5 70 ps. on a run will get aprox 29mpg, :| not fully loaded. though it has been serviced since. oh and the pump has been tweeked :twisted: will have to start another record

1990 Executive 2.0 petrol manual returning just 16 mpg!!! :cry:
