it is very annoing


in every gear there is like a rattle noise at 2000 revs


at it will do a little clonk when you 1st start the van also when you turn it off



also when your driving at low speeds like over speed humps. it will make the rattle


any help? also it does a clunking noise when i let out the clutch SOMETIMES.



this is my 1st ever question so be nice lol

well it wont do it if the clutch is in or if you just rev it only if its in any gear and the clutch is out

it sounds like it is lash noise from gearbox,they seem to make the noise where the engine developes most of its torque, but also check to make sure no loose shields anywhere :)

I had a similar rattle on my connect worried the shite out of me anyway quick look underneath and tightend the rear engine/gearbox mount nut a couple of turns rattle gone.
Its a circular mount just behind the sump. Try it you never know :)

i have the same noise as you describe its really annoying checked today and it kicks in at exactly 2000 revs :?:

mine still aint fixed.


the van now has another fault to do with electrics. there bloody rubbish, you cant beat an old citroen berlingo

i had the same problem, luckily it was still under warranty as it was the gear box that was shot, all good untill the clutch went a month later due to a badly fitted rubber seal or something which was done when the gear box was fitted ... w*** haha
