2.2 Tdci 2006 P1402, P062B, P1103 P0404

Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone can throw any light on this one.
Vehicle came to me with engine mil on, but with no known running issues. Carried out code read and there were 4 error codes stored.
P2265 - Water in fuel sensor circuit range/performance
P062B - Internal injection module error !
P1103 - MAF - Ok, but slightly higher than expected.
P0404 - EGR - egr circuit range performance

Codes have been cleared twice and light has stayed off for about a week.
I removed the EGR (still connected to harness) and watched it whilst "actuating" it with scan tool (Autodiagnos) valve didn't move ! so, attempted to clean it - valve did eventually start to open and close when actuated, so refitted.
P0404 returned after revving/driving it. So tested air intake for leaks/blockages using smoke machine - nothing found.
Replaced EGR with new unit from Ford, checking and clearing codes after replacing EGR, has revealed a "New" code - P1402 - erratic signal. This code will not clear, even with ignition only/engine off.
I've tried a search of the forum and found a couple of references but no "fix" as such.
P1402 does clear if I reconnect old EGR !!
Does it need the ECU updating ?

Would appreciate any advice, thanks for reading
Regards
Dave
