hope this helps aswell

rotate the crankshaft until piston no1 is approximetely 10mm BTDC

zero the dial indicator gauge

mark the position on flywheel primary mass

crankshaft clockwise

rotate crankshaft until piston no1 achieves zero on the dial indicator gauge.

mark position on flywheel.

repeat to make sure mark is correct

the middle of the markings is TDC measure the distance between the 2 marks

divide the amount by 2 AND MARK position TDC on flywheel

measure the circumference of the flywheel

multiply the circumfrance by 0.1388

mark the calculated amount on flywheel by measuring from TDC anticlockwise

1 first mark

2second mark

3determind TDC

4determined 50 degrees BTDC
