If my memory serves me well, it's fuse 67 - behind the drop down glove box.

i have tried this, but it says fuse 11 in the engine compartment, i checked this and it is fine.
from what i've read it is fuse no. 63 behind the glove compartment, but i cant find a diagram that shows this.. there is no number 63 in glove compartment.
is there anywhere to download the 2005 manual ?

its only fuse 67 on a Mk7 you have a Mk6, just check all the fuses, eventually you will find it

f11 is the fuse if thats ok ..check the pump motor ...try putting a live feed to the green /orange wire...if it works i would say the stalk is playing up..if still not working try putting a earth feed to the red /black wire on pump,..if still not working put both live and earth to pump,if not working then its the pump motor

The wiper stalks themselves do give trouble. Make sure the connections are O.K. Check to see if you have power to the pump motor. With ignition on you should have 12 volts at both motor terminals with one going to earth when the washer button is pressed. Take the connector off the pump and connect a 12 volt bulb across the sockets. If it lights when the button is pressed then the motor is probably U/S. If not then the stalk is suspect or the wiring is chafed through at the near side inner wing. Have you CHANGED the fuse or just looked at it as sometimes you can't see the break?
