A few people on here have removed the inside from there lights and painted them black. Do a search to see pics. im sure there is even a guide of how to do so on here.

Yeah black headlights look the nuts, and can be done for like £15. And with the lenses apart you could probably incorporate some DRLs??

No you don't paint the reflector, just the surround. When you take the light apart, it becomes obvious which parts to paint.
I've had no problems with misting at all and mine are sealed with black silicone.
You need to remove the bumper to get the light unit out. It's then a real b@stard to split the units but take your time and they will come apart.

Hello mate, heres my headlights from when I did them, Ive got Silvertech bulbs for the indicators, and have just ordered my HID kit for them

Before and after - I used masking tape to hold it in place over night while the silicone and glue dried

Done and refitted

how are the indicators with reflection... are they a little dim with the black reflectors or still ok?

Paint the whole lot, no issues. Just use the pre orange bulbs for the best look. You don't need silver look bulbs with a black reflector. Zero MOT problems. :D
