errr no  that was with nitrous

unless you fit nitrous your van would proberbly be around 18.50 :!: - quite a bit slower than a 2.8 V6 petrol

if the tdci's bhp was anywhere near the cossy's(190) or yb(200+)it would kick its ass,and imo the fact that a toyota engine has to be used, the times can't be said to be fastest for transits,it should be ford engines in ford vans, others will disagree but i don't give a toss

well even ford dont always fit ford engines :!: the fastest Transit around doesnt run a ford engine - it's a s/c chevy V8 but as he hasnt come to a forum event it doesn't count

i personally dont see a problem with tuning upgrades - some say nitroman 'cheated' having nitrous - i dont see a problem with it :D

end of the day mark will never run his van dont the strip as it'll shatter his illusion that it's faster than a cossy V6

what i'm trying to put across is,up to now it's been a contest,1st one then somebody else has edged it,from now on there won't be a contest as no one with a standard or mildly tuned engine will get a look in :|

i dont see how :!: - just have a fair race against people in your own class :D i always try to get as many racing as we can, i dont set out to have the fastest van - i'd much prefer if more of us raced, all the north weald meets ive pm'd all the fast van owners to try to get them to come along, Transits with chevy V8's, all the cosworths and the guy with the 1UZFE V8 mk6 (if it exists  ) all ones that should have beat mine :D
doesnt matter that i'm fitting a toyota engine - if i didnt have that i'd have gone for a faster Ford one anyway
