MK5 Clutch

It's getting difficult to get into first gear (clutch dragging?) Is it likely to be the clutch itself or the auto adjuster?

Auto adjuster could give trouble, or clutch arm, they develop cracks & bend, or clutch cable, the outer cable crushes together loosing movement. Good luck, let me know how you get on. John L.

Ive a Mk5 and ive had to change the clutch twice in about 6 years. Both times i found the arm was faulty so it needed a new clutch and arm.
Mine hasnt got an auto adjuster, its inside the van above the pedel

Good luck n i hope this helps ATB Mark
