new wing ordered so less of tight t%"t lol :)
just sorting out dash lights replacing with red leds ,having fun stripping the tacho down ,just replacing the original bulbs just dont seem bright enough for my liking so need to strip and add a few more holes to poke a few more leds through but trying to keep everything inside the unit so cant tell ,havent broke it yet :D :D

right all lights replaced with leds including the bloody tacho had to strip it and added a few more leds inside ,just wait for tonight and see how bright they really are i can see them in day light so should be all good tonight .

think a new stearing wheels needed now,another thing to add to shopping list. :D
nearly forgot added a few bits of white vinyl to dash where heavy use is round key,bottom of where stereos going .

Nice.....are those genuine skyway mag wheels - Do they still sell those? :)
This van is biodegradable and will disintegrate in time.

cheers for the comments going to do the rest of dash black but a mat black ,rest of buttons and heater dials and stuff white aswell looking for a dual pod to mount on plastic trim down inside of window for vault meter and oil presure doing white aswell .still thinking on stuff for the outside when its all straight and rot free ,doing all the usuel stuff a bar, roof bar lights colour coded bumpers, mirrors ,but want to do something really special for decal graphics (ANY IDEAS ANYONE) :?:

no worries thats what the whole sites about steeling i mean incorparating other peoples ideas to make our own ideal van :)
no doubt i will be steeling a few ideas aswell along the way :D :D

Just given me an idea. I've got two Mk5 dashes that have been left out in the sun and weather. The black plastic has gone all white like corner shop chocolate. I reckon the paint will stick like shite to them though now. hee hee. :D

well front wing off and not good need an inner wing part aswell as a lot of it came away with the outer wing .pictures to follow when finished digging out the tin worm. :x

You can bodge up the inner wing by beating various compound curves out of sheetmetal on a sandbag and a stretcher hammer and then just patchwork them all up and add a lip. grind it down, bang it about a bit, paint and its as good as.

Expensive part! get some decent bumper holder onner inner wing metal bits from a scraper if they are bad..
