Mine needs doing as when I bought the van it was empty, but I am not paying £50.00!!

round here prices are from £40.00+ vat for regassing,mines 4yrs old and still working but i fire it up every week all year to keep it working..........and it's soooooooooo good 8)

Aye up kwik fit are or were charging £29.99 for a re gas price mite have gone up with the recent good weather though.

They were charging £24.99, but when I phoned last week they wanted £50.00.
They did my last car for £24.99. Suppose I'll have to wait.

Would think £24 was for a top up which most cars and vans need every few years . got mine refilled as condenser was busted cost me £40 which is the usual price round these parts. look for commercial fridge companys, most of them have the gear for filling cars and vans

if you could get the parts i'd do it but if you were looking to get all the correct bits you'd probably be looking somewhere in the region of a total cost of aroung 700 -850 including labour and refrigerant i think, you'd be surprised at what people charge for compressors and condensors especially ford :shock:

the cost of the refrigerant has risen every month for the last 4 months and we are talking 15% rises not a few pennies its a joke.

and if they did the job properly thats quite reasonable. not just a quick splash and dash
