Transit Van losing power - badly on hill??? Help

Postby hullstorage » Fri May 06, 2011 10:05 am

Hi all,

Transit Van 350 TD 2003

We have a van that does not seem to be very powerful with a max speed of aroun 68 mph.

The main problem is the van only does about 40 mph on hill even when not loaded.

We had a full service about 3 weeks ago in hope that this would cure it.

It has also always run like this??

Any suggestions

Thanks

Simon

My 90 T 350 was like this untill I had it remapped. Did 68-70 ish flat out on motorway after about 10mins  and couldn't overtake at all. Remapped it does 75-80 no bother, and WOULD run at 120 ish when pushed
