im sure there is a way, but dont think people would be quite too keen to broadcast it over a forum.

Hi
yes bought van and it has had a couple of lock changes and was given a bunch of keys and none of them fit the front doors .
ok its got remote locking which now works correctly after finding the problem and on visiting a breakers yard to remove the latch assembly from a connect i discover that the only way i could see to remove the barrel was to insert the key .

Now i would like at least one of the door barrels matching my ignition key so in the event of the central locking failing i could still gain access to the cab.

If anyone does know how could they pm me
thanks

Do any of the keys actualy turn in the lock, even though it wont unlock it, as you only have to turn the key in the lock barrel 90 degrees to release the pin.

Your best bet is to get as many ford keys as you can, friends, family, scrap cars. and should be able to get one of them to turn the lock, maybe a bit stiff but should do it.

From what he won't have anything to go off?

Unless he has a pick, that will work it to get lock out?..

He has a piece of kit that will tell him the code needed to cut a key for the lock

Depends what the guy wants easier to get keys cut i would think
