I see you have a nice blue mk 2 I had one almost the same about 10 years ago and I fitted it out as a camper with big speakers in the beds, it was really cool but had to sell it as needed cash, hopefully I'll do a similar thing with this one,

spent a couple of hours grinding the other front arch and wing today and layering up the filler on the joint of my new wing with flattening in between, it's hard work to get it right! beginning to wish I had fit the whole wing now!!! I know for next time, although I won't be changing it all on the other side I hope I can just repair the wing and arch with filler as it's not too bad and I can't really afford 2 more new panels and it's so time consuming for me to change panels!! any big holes I'll weld metal into and fill!
I have heard some people say that filler holds water and rots panels, I don't believe this and in fact I have done quite a bit of body work using filler myself and never had any problems, I used a lot in my old transit and saw it recently for sale again with gearbox gone but body still looked great! yes I was a bit suprised seeing as i filled a lot of rust on it!! My friend who repaired cars and vans filled some huge dents in his van and they never fell out or anything, so although filler isn't original I think in some cases it's the best way!! as long as you don't fill the whole van!!!
I'm not bodging!!
hopefully minor matt is coming to see me at the weekend and fingers crossed he can get my drivers seat out so i can start doing the cab floor, even that will be ground down and repaired if needed, painted and then I am going to carpet it hopefully, :D

Cheers Matt for coming down today and helping me, and bringing me my new rear bumper step!
we tried the door and it seems to fit the new arch ok!
also he managed to get my drivers seat out,,, horray!!! I'm gonna get some work done this week hopefully!
still looking for a seat if anyone has one! or at least some runners as mine are rusted!

gonna grind my cab floor down now and get rid of that old rubber matt stuff, so let the grinding begin!!
