Thanks Altransit...I'm taking the week off working on the Bus for my Birthday...Having said that, We are using some of the time to fit a tow bar to the car (to take bus to specialised services)....Consult an engineer and a LPG fitter not to mention picking up sheetmetal and a bunch of steel for further Love bus work.
I sure know how to party!!!!!!

Now I didn't do the following this week...think it was the week before........
Image
With the floor out it's easier to do something about the crossmember I chopped (just above bellhousing in pic)
Image
Here's where the extra crossmember will go
Image
2 parts of crossmember...Had these folded at a sheet metal shop
Image
The extra crossmember plus the bits I had folded will form a K-frame

Trans filler tube in way of K-frame
Image
......so it's goodbye to the factory filler tube
Image
Crossmember fouled trans in test fitting so subframes fabricated shallower and crossmember needs to be modded to match

One down...one to go

Modded crossmember (background)

K frame temporarily tacked in place for floor pan mod
