Was getting a bit fed up with the Rev counter not working on the mondeo clocks and Id had this idea for sometime to fit some Granada MKII clocks in... I wanted something a little older in and then I could then also fit the oil/amp gauges in too. So out came the cutters and within seconds, the van had the snip again...
Image
Took a while to sort out the wiring, as the Granada had an overhead roof console with some of the warning lamps in, brought display section off ebay, but it took weeks to arrive, which left the dash in bits with nothing to do.
Image
Finally, sorted the Granada plug and then found out why the Mondeo rev counter didnt work  connected the wire to the wrong part of the loom  it works now, but it too late. Wrapped up all the wiring to give it some protection.
Image
Test fitted the surround with headlamp levelling switch, also found the lamps where far too dim, so I knocked out the bulb caps and fitted some white LEDs. A quick test run and everything working great, next is to get the matching amp/oil gauges to be fitted in the dash top pod and move the electric window buttons, which have been floating around for years, with nowhere to go. Still got to buy oil pressure pipe and fittings and work out the Amp meter gauge, but thats another day. Got to do some work on my Sons Mini he has just brought
