Yopu could feasably fit a spec under the back of a beaver. Problem is that the tail of the body would be too low for the frame to fit. You would also not be able to lift high enuff to tow Thats a Century repo truck and that guy has done that before, top lift and tow all under a minute, class!

Iv seen one thats a beavertail with a spec was on a eurocargo

lifted plenty high enough, problem was the beaver angle and ramps were too steap

slidebed is the way to go, if it dont fit on then spec it

Do you mean as its easier to have a spec lift also with the flat bed, then the bed would slide right past the spec lift

It got a spec frame with folding arms, they come round the back of the wheels hydraulically when the arms are under the vehicle. Its all operated from the cab via a rear facing camera. They go off a short distance then stop to strap it on properly. Its all to stop repo men getting hassle

Muttley, to some people it only becomes illegal once you've been pulled. If just the beavertail part was fixed to a sort of fifth wheel coupling so the whole back of the bed swivelled when you had a car on "suspended tow " why would it not work when cornering? Then locked in place if you had a car completely on the truck. That foldaway repo crane is old hat, are you old enough to remember the TUCKAWAY crane about 30 years ago?

Not only to remember but to have USED a tuckaway behind an AA 190 Transit Mk2 What you suggest would probably be ok but may be pretty hard to construct. Not sure about the angle of the towed vehicle either

yep, also means you can carry 2 cars at once,

most of ours are slidebed with specs

can also have a twin deck slidebed with spec to carry 3 cars,

Yeah I know that, but did you watch the second vid, it's like a bit of rubber that somehow wraps round the bumber can't see how it wouldn't cause damage???

The foldaway crane is like the Harvey Frost, chains go to the front suspension, yes it can (and does) cause damge to the bumper The tuckaway I used was the same but manually operated, an old car back seat squab reduced damage to a bearable amount

Anyone know a good air suspension kit for rear of a 350 or 430 even, chassis cab , just the prices I'm finding seem pretty steep for what you get.....
