So far ive replaced the knackered rear number plate, rear left hand side bottom door catch, new aerial, new stereo with USB connection, replaced the windscreen seal at the top and as of today its had new engine mounts, a service, and will soon be having a new power steering pump, belt and tensioner. Covered 6000 miles since ive had it and it drives like a dream. 159K and still going strong.

Haha, i did that when i originally posted the first pic but couldnt see the point afterwoulds.

Wanna tart it up a bit when ive got a bit of spare cash (probably never!)
Starting with straighening the bent gutter up, new drivers side wing (rotten), tidy the arches and sills up and black the bumpers or even colour code them.

Apart from a Mk7 van the same style as mine (SWB, semi high roof) ive never seen another ex rac in that body style. Was there not that many made or used by the RAC? Been looking to see what they fetch but cant find another one.

Carlton motors in Darlington have a swb semi hi roof MK7, It has an awning fitted to the nearside big enough to park a car in I think they used them for windscreen repairs they only seem to be 85ps models with no frills unlike the patrol vans
