Need code for CD6000

Hi all had to remove battery to work on the truck ,have lost key code for radio anyone know how to get code back at all. any help very grateful.

It's not my day can't read full number M0107#### not able to make out last three or four they have been defaced
i guess I'm stuffed anyone else can help or is time to look for second hand unit.

if i remember correctly if you push buttons 1 and 6 together the m number is displayed

Result!!! i thought i would just open up unit as last chance bingo! the code had been written inside black marker pen
it must have had a bit of work in the past. thanks for all your help taz666,
