transit turnoff

We have a ford transit in the workshop at the moment. The vehicle wont turn off. We have the following codes, P1170 and P1172.
If anyone has any information reguarding this or theese specific codes can you please reply, specifically if those codes pertain to the injector pump. Any help will be much apreciated, thanks, NAE.

A little more information regarding which Transit, and which engine, may help :wink:

Age for a start...
Gaffa tape is like "the force" - it has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the universe together.

There's nothing that shouts "Poor Workmanship" more than wrinkles in the Gaffer tape.....

Its a 2000 ford transit 190 long wheel base.

Petrol? Diesel? Turbodiesel?

Just re-read your first post again ................ if you have codes, it must be a turbo diesel :wink:
