Transit 350 double cab tipper

Hi all,
I am looking to buy a transit 350 double cab tipper,but have conflicting information on how much they can carry.Seen some advertised on Ebay that say they will carry 1784 kgs.But someone told me they can only carry less than a tonne.Can any one help.

depends as well on the tipper body..is it high side=less carry weight. steel body is heavier but longer lasting than alloy
A steel body tipper with high sides is probberbly only gonna carry a ton before its over weight,more so if you carry tools and a few extra people,Do you need a crew cab??

I'm a builder and the moment I have a mwb semi high transit,but it's differcult to carry sand etc,so I am trying to find a solution.

may need tacho then.
if you dont need a crew cab a single cab would take more weight
