hi all thought would start a thread on my van bit of a noob so bear with me
bought van for £300 as knew needed some welding work and is bit rough around edges
wheel arches fine for mo but will need replacing in next 6 months
internal of van is battered and bruised bot most of it will be covered or painted

cleaned van out panels off floor up front mat ripped out as was like a sponge

rear floor welded around inner arch cover,two front steps patched for time being,small hole under clutch pedal repaired,
the plan is to put in 2x3 minibus seats in rear 1 rear facing 1 forward facing with table between so kids can draw ect on the move
just need to learn to weld as cost 250 to have those bits of welding done .was that expensive/cheap????
rear doors being replaced, windows being fitted in the sides
mot on the 25th so hope dont need much doing lol

was used to move washing machines that why back of floor rottted

but most of the in side will be covered and out side beeing painted so wont be to bad

was the welding expensive ??

did you cut out the new panels and cut same out of old then seam weld, or over llap new and old and weld?

its a great sized motor for a family van! lucky ! wish mine was high roof !

The bad bits in rear floor were cut out the rest was patched over ...... Yeh got 7 kids and a massive husky so need the space lol

Unfortunately i havnt been able to drive it much as needs tyres and mot due nect week and limited funds to Finnish it also trying to do all the repairs my self apart from paying to get welding done as live in a little welsh village and dont know anyone lol so this thread mite be on here a while

All welding should be done by tues so just mod exhaust to side exit then will be put in for mot
