Puk, a troublesome fairy!

Having retrieved puk, full mot and tax on the back of a tow truck, the tweaks for a camper week with the kids in 10 days time is now becoming a little obsessive...

Mobile dean the tuner man has renewed the belts, put in a new water pump, reconnected the alternator, and replaced several and various missing assorted nuts and screws. Back tomorrow to add electronic ignition, change rear shocks and check carb. He thinks i should have a choke, im not so sure...or maybe he said he wanted to choke me.

Frantic panic over seat safety meant a desperate call to tony the mobilevanman...he said in a rather charlie brooker way...dont move, i think i've got a plan! So next wednesday will see if we can get the safe seating sorted.

My pitiful efforts have been...blow up the rad...and replace it, fix one wing mirror. Paint toilet room. Make snug fit letterbox for new cd radio and then fail dismally to wire. Refit rad fan (travelling dean says the wiring is too small and needs a relay, he then asked if i could fit it...i said whats a relay? Thats now on his list too.

Toilet on order, rather cute plastic bag bin holder thing to go in...platform for loo to be formed. Little driving adventures in and around town to run in for devon/cornwall run for holidays...all looking positive but not cheap...hope she holds together for the next 3 years and i may break even! Oh...is this an oops??? Just to update, after all that, now on second camping trip (#1 being the m25)...#2 now the car area at the bottom of the access road, about 200m away. Apparently starter motors fail as well...

Looks familiar! There used to be one just like this, in Stanstead Mountfitchet which I used to drive past on the way to and from work, but it disappeared a few months back

Using the bitter and twisted energy of not being able to get a starter motor to put some decals on, im sure its not to every bodys taste but have to try and convince a 16 year old gil and a 12 year old boy that transits can be cule :) Image
