first job i'm doing its upgrading my charging system as the alternator is struggling to charge all my batteries
so I'm fitting a sterling pro reg b advanced alternator regulator it stats turns alternator in to a four step
battery charger increases charge performance from between 300-1000% depending on original alt voltage.
first job is to solder two wires to the brushes in the alt rebuild and check to see which alt you have negative rotor
or positive rotor ill explain as i go how to check this.
this is how I'm doing it may be of use to anyone just wanting to put new brushes in there mitsubishi alt
internal fan style mines is 95 amps or want to put this system in there camper for 240 volts when you have
not got elec hook up access.

this is my inverter with one of the new batts

Image

tools for this step are soldering iron de solder and solder not pictured, multimeter, screw drivers,
13mm spanner 13mm 8mm sockets n ratchet, small tapping hammer, steel wool wire brushes etc to clean
alt body.

if your struggling for history take it upto cocozza and find out what area it was built for then
should be easy enough to find what garage it was parked in.
