mk 6 help

Postby specialbru » Thu Sep 27, 2012 10:45 pm

I wonder if anyone can help me?
I've just joined this forum as ive just bought a 2005 2.4 115 rwd transit.
i was hoping to get the ecu remapped but the two people who have tried are saying they cant access the ecu and they've also said it isnt listed as a 115 bhp on the database.

Any info would be appreciated

Well im more confused and slightly worried.
this tuning expert came out and took the ecu to be sorted at what he said were his tech guys!
He came back 3 hours later saying they also couldn't access the ecu because a small chip on the circuit board has moved.
Has anyone any ideas ?

Judging by the lack of response this isn't a common problem!
Has anyone any idea how i can get it fixed as at th moment i couldnt get into the ecu if there were any problems ?

I suspect your remappers are the problem.

You need a tuner that has a clue

Yes the 115's are often listed as tdci for some reason on autodata and many diagnostic machines, but anyone who knows their trade should know and easily overcome this.
