Pinto crankcase ventilation oil separator

Postby Mr twin choke » Thu Jun 01, 2023 7:54 pm

I am currently rebuilding my 2.0 pinto engine and found when replacing the PCV valve that the cylindrical oil separator that fits in the side of the block which the PCV valve fits into has corroded through in 2 places. Does anyone have a spare one they might be willing to sell? I've tried to source a new one from all my usual engine parts suppliers without success so any help would be much appreciated

Can't you just plumb it into an oil catch can instead?

Is it this type

or the black squarer one?

Yes that's the right one rather than the squarer one. I'm trying to avoid fitting a catch tank as I'd like to keep it looking as original as possible
