I have a set of 16" shod with nearly new Michelin Agilis tyres, 215/75/16c

Standard on a 330 or 350, but I used them for a short while on my 280 Mk6, without any problems.

Did that tyre size on the 16” raise the van up? They seem massive them tyres.

How much you after? And where about are you?

They will raise the van a little, and they will drop the revs in any gear, and make your speedo under-read, because they have a 10% bigger rolling radius. They worked for me as the van was always loaded, and gave me less sway when cornering.

Did you have the 215/75r16 on the front as well as the back of your 280? I'd guess the front would be more prone to rubbing with larger tyres. I'm still plotting to upgrade my 280 mk7 when the 195/70r15 finaly wear out.

I'm sold. I assume as it's the standard size on the heavier vans, meaning I should be able to set it int he computer.

Yes, it's the standard wheel size on a 330fwd, which is essentially the same sized van, (albeit carries more weight!)
These will make the speedo under-read by about 5%, instead of the normal 5% over-read, which can be corrected with IDS :D
