MT75 Mechanical Speedo Drive. Or Gearbox swap

Postby 103keef » Sat Jan 12, 2019 8:33 pm

So I have an MT75 Diesel Box that I'm putting in a MK2.
It's got the Electronic Speedo Drive so I'm looking for a Mechanical one. Speedo Cable would be useful as well.
Alternatively, I'd consider swapping Gearbox's with someone.

You don't need to swap the gearbox, you can convert it from electronic to cable easily. All you need is the pinion drive wheel, a cable and an oil seal, loads on here about in fact Minor Mat has a good post about it. I am searching myself for how the electronic sensor is wired because need to get a feed for my cruise control as I've thrown the magnets from the prop shaft.
