Air con heater/blower box mk7 2.2

Postby craigmiller » Thu Jul 25, 2019 7:14 am

Hi,
Does anyone have a air con blower box for my 2012 mk7 2.2? I can’t take my doggy in the van in the heat anymore so looking into retrofitting air con but this seems to be the only part I’m unable to find except direct from Ford.

Thank you
Craig

You'd be much quicker, million times easier to fit and much cheaper getting something like thisImage

I was meaning that type of AC... .
NOT the actual advert as it's only the shroud
To fit transit parts its dash out fir heater box but also wiring changes for electronic flap motor, heater switch, micro switches, bcm module, vacum pipes, pump belt , idler pulleys, tensioner, heater water pipes vacum operated diverter, ac rad fans and control module, wiring loom etc etc etc, big job
Not being funny but Probably cheaper buying/ swapping for van with AC

Thank you for your ideas, sorry I had forgotten about this post. I’ve spent to much on this van recently rebuilding the engine after a cam chain snap to swap it for one with aircon. Roof top units are no good to me as I need to fit under height barriers. Have found an alternative way of fitting air con using a kit car unit driven by the engine as normal. A project for the winter.
