Sender for temperature gauge,

Postby czar » Fri Apr 24, 2020 1:53 am

Hello lads,
I am not mechanically minded ,and I always end up barking my knuckles and banging my head,so excuse me.My old Mk 5 banana is running well but I have noticed that the temperature gauge is barely getting into the 'normal' bracket,it usually sits right in the middle, where can I find the sender? I will give it a twiddle. thanks Les

I've just bought a similar vehicle, and my temperature gauge is the the same. Even after a lengthy drive (+30 minutes), the gauge barely gets off the lowest reading.

The heater's definitely blowing hot air though, so I doubt it's a thermostat problem.

I have not solved the it yet, but would also appreciate some help.

Whoops. I found your post through a search.

I didn't notice that we're probably in the wrong category to get any quick advice!

Apologies for the clutter, Admin!
