Pretty old engine from a late Mk3 or Mk4, it's got the coldstart thermostat etc

Must be Mk 4, there was no banana manifold for Mk 3

Just looking at that engine the top hose looks flat to me :shock:

My red on used to flatten the top hose when it cooled down. Never caused a problem.
