There are a lot of New MK3 Ford Transit quarter window weatherstrips on ebay for sale, they have the part numbers 6179001 and 1660313, should anyone be interested in them, I saw them today.

Just had a look the seller has put best offer on all of them,

they were on for £50 each with £13.00 postage, mind you they are heavy and there is a weight limit with royal mail too, went to a breakers last month, every van window seal i found was split and hard, no use to anyone and he wanted £15.00 each, second hand weather strips used to be ok but not when the window rattles and moves, ok there is always clear window seal but its no very proffessional, got to prioritise what gets done first, but they are the only ones i have seen on ebay,

and i have not seen anymore like them on ebay either, ok they are new old stock but when you think most of the parts we buy are new old stock i have always found that perishable rubbers always seem harder to find, there is a Ford spares place in Germany but they want 110 euros each and thats not counting postage either. :shock:

Does anyone else know where to get them any cheaper because eventualy i am going to need them too.

Re weatherstrips, the ebay seller has dropped the price to £27.00 each and will combine postage on 2 weatherstrips,
this is a very good deal though i mean its near impossible to get window rubbers that have not cracked or gone rigid.
