:? Something dodgy with that, mk6 engine, instruments and wheel, I dare say that's a mk6 looking like a mk7 on false plates

Some people get a new MOT when they buy a vehicle Mike...

So, even though it got an MOT to sell, the new owner then got their own (just guessing though!)

I'll guess and say it is a very late mk6 that has had the usual mk7 parts conversion.
:D of that isn't possible then it's a franken van

It does say on advert "Engine conversion to Mk6 engine (2.0 DI)"

Which is possible. I've done it myself for another member on here. Although I did keep mk7 steering column etc in place.

But it has a mk7 dash but mk6 steering gear and switches. Who the foof would do that  and there's only paul that knows how to convert to mk7 switches and that involves bcm and loom changes etc I think. So I'll stick with mk6 originally. What about an etis check?

Which checks out as mk7 130ps.

Just can't get passed the steering though, it's like fitting a cock to your mrs

On the mot it says pitted rear discs did mk6 fwd vans have drum brakes on the rear like the mk6 rwd vans , has it got the mk6 switches because it’s had a loom change to go with the mk6 engine.

Disk brakes can be fitted to the mk6, in fact the shell is mostly the same so you could convert the whole thing from 1 to the other, but I guess it would be more work leaving the mk6 column in and wiring the switches up wouldn't it? :x

I'd say it's a mk7, tailgate wiring is on the drivers side.
