How positively droll! :D
I ment is it a Mk1 With a hell of a lot of Mk2 bits thrown at it or a Mk2 with a Mk1 front end? . . . .

It looks like the early mk1 York engine that was fitted in a mk 1 on the right of the engine bay you can see the motor unit that puts the fuel cold start on the Lucas Minniemeck fuel pump saves you opening the bonnet to push the button in manually it has also has the little fuel reservoir for the flame start plug in the inlet manifold.
I think if it was a York engine out of a mk2 it would have the 4 glow plug in the cylinder head system back in the day at work I fitted two Ford exchange engines in two mk 1 vans when the mk2 was on the road and they came with the later cold start system you got the full electric system to convert to the automatic cold start and you removed all the old system I think the engines even came with the later Bosch pump and electric stop .

Just thinking I got it wrong the motor unit on the left is actually the stop control the overload was put on with a solenoid the same type as used to engage the overdrive on some gearboxes from some BMC models

It's a mk2 rebuilt from mk1 bits, mk2 was probably a coach built camper (hole in back of cab) they probably already had a rusty mk1 bought the mk2 and made one up out of the pair, no one is ever going to spot the mk2 dash
