hi, i have a large black bull bar on the front of my motor, and a bar with the light covers. its the factory painted black at the moment, does anyonw know what it involved in turning this into shiney metal? the stainless steel/chrome look? and how much roughly

and finally, where can i get it done? bodyshop place?

it would be way cheeper to buy a chrome bar :)

The black ones are generally plastic coated and are crap metal underneath the plastic, even if you can find a chrommer to chrome it which I doubt you will, it wont be worth it.

the big ones werent available in the chrome when i got it. i dont think they are yet.

so its safe to say i have to get that idea out my head then? :cry:

i was looking at side bars but i thought it would look wierd with chrome bars and a black bullbar.

Yeah but they don't do powder coat chrome! :wink:

Go to a decent place and they'll do something like chromax, very shiney and very tough, and you can do cool fades aswell 8)
