I am going to do a pair for the front of my Mk1 LWB to 7" (+1.5") and fit 235/60x14.

Here is what they look like, fronts are 7" wide and fitted with 215/60x14, and rears changed to single rim, 9" width and fitted with 245/60x14

Yep, that pickup is soooo cool!

Yes still have the LDV, it is my "tow rocket" for my race car, and everything else besides. Building a 4.6 RR engine to slot into it:) Might band a pair of front wheels for this too.

I assumed you were asking for a dual rear wheel van, and not a Mk5 or something with 6 stud single wheels?

Aaaah, I should have asked first! In that case disregard the above posts

I think the 6 stud single wheels on the Mk4 & Mk5 vans are a "heavy duty" wheel, and probably thicker steel than the 5 stud wheels, just guessing as I don't know for sure. But I cannot see any reason why they cannot be widened the same way.

They would fit back to front... but with the offset you would need seriously wide arches (look at your mk1 pickup!)

Matt - is there any wellers or landy wheels that could be re-drilled ?

Not that I have found for 6 stud :(

If it were 6 x 170 it would be possible, but 6x180 is just too much
