Bulkhead door

Postby BabyDontYurtMe » Tue Feb 03, 2015 2:17 pm

Hi guys,

Looking at doing something funky with the wooden bulkead that goes to the back of my LWB high roof transit whereby I can get from the drivers seats into the back - dont really fancy hopping out of the nice warm cab to then jump in the back to sleep at night!
Has it been done before? I have the 3 seat cab so it will be a bit of a pain to climb through but I have already accepted that

We loved it so much, we have just purchased a Mk7 LWB high roof Transit to do some staycationing!

yes its been done kartcher does 1 already.. several home made sleeper cabs in vans.. easy way is move bulkhead back a bit box in on the nearside u do loose 2 or 3 feet from load area but if u box it in by the sliding door u can keep warmer..single seat would make it easier as well

Swap the twin passenger for a single, and access is much easier
