A week later and not even the courtesy of a reply! So you are probably rightAdaptors would not work, as they would push the wheels out too far. Pity, as the Alcoa wheels would be spot on for offset and width on a Mk2! I did a lot of measuring, and looks like they would be good on the Mk2 with a 195 or 205/60x16 tyre.
