Hi
I have fitted Scorpio leather ,all electric seats to my Mk 6,
just needed to make up 8 angle iron brackets which we welded to the seats original subframe then bolted those down to the vans mounting
( hopefully there'll be a couple of pics here)

I have also kept the pre-tensionaers, but I don't know if it will go
through anImage MOT, like this.
I got a little black book with me poems in

They are fine, the adjusters all work ,I have wired in the heaters but the wife kept them on for an hour or so one cold evening & melted the fuses ,
holders and all !
So I have put in one of those 30 amp fuses for a hi-power amp, and blown that too, so I reckon some wiring has melted.
When I bought the van it had a twin on the passenger side, but I had it swapped for a single before delivery (at no cost).
I couldn't find anyone who wanted the originals so finished up
binning them, as the cloth was deteriorating... the only thing is I miss
the armrest.

hi all i must get you some pictures of my seats and frames, tomorrow probably, vishlida, i think i saw a nice set of seat mounts on here th other day, i think they were in a mk1 or mk2 white with blue intirior in the gallery? they consisted of two 12"ish square plates top and bottom, the lower one picking up th subframe mounting holes in the floor, the other the mounting holes in the seat sub frame or just welded to the seat sub frame, and joined up in the middle with a 4" o/d 7or8" long piice of round tube hope this helps dude, i'll get some photos on here tomorrow

Yo Sundowner

I only paid $70 (30quid) for them. Have one of those wreckers close to Syd where you remove the pieces yourself and then proceed to a checkout. I reckon I did well or they didn't know what they were. They were sitting square when I took them out. Picked up the window regulator in the rear of pic for $30 when a Melb wrecker charged me $100.

There's an excellent lower mk2 front end there with discs for $200. I'll wait until I change diff to lsd so I wont have to carry two spares.

I've been told that the 250 crossflow motor doesn't give much more power that the other..... what do you know about that?
