spotted a mk3 lwb the other day, and im sure the rear arches look wider than those on the mk4/5 swb, by a reasonable amount - maybe 1 1/2 inches each side. just wondering if this is the case and if anyone has thought of using them when fitting wider wheels on a swb

bugger. guess you would have to cut and shut them all the way round to reduce the radius then? would be easier than trying to mod the van to make the panels fit....

i reckon the side door would pass ok - i dont think they are that wide and ive seen the bodykits fitted which look wider with the sliding door still on
im not sure they are the ones im talking about....the ones ive seen - two different vans - have a kind of curved flared bit that returns under the crease line of the cill, if you understand what i mean, thinking about it, they might have both been DRW vans

saw one of the vans again today, it was a T reg!! the extra long one with the skinny mid panel between the normal lwb ones, and it was a single rear wheel. the panels are definately different to swb ones, definately wider.
