Adaptors

Postby gasretro » Sun Oct 12, 2008 2:25 pm

Hi guys have just registered, i'm a totall Transit nutter and will post up drivers/projects asap but i'm mad to get a set of rear adaptors made for my 97 Tourneo? The wheels i'm wanting to fit are Rover/MG 18"s and the PCD is 5x100 with 54mm diameter inside centre hole! Any help/drawings would be greatly appreciated :D Also according to my measurements the 5 brake disc bolts on the front hub are 5x100 PCD, would it be safe enough to open/tap them + use extended wheel bolts? Thanx Gav

Hi there,
check out this thread viewtopic.php?f=13&t=15807&start=90 and you will see the CAD model I made of some adapters for 112 PCD from a drawing someone on here already had which I can soon modify to 5x100.
Any preference for the thickness of the adapters? Anything over 20-25mm should be fine.
Also it would be good to know how far the centre boss protrudes from the mounting face on the Transit hub.

If you PM me this info I will do an adapter drawing and send it in. 3D models can be taken to CNC workshops and made straight off the computer.
