HI MATE , DID HE FIT THEM FOR YOU AT THE VAN SHOP, THAT IS THE ONE IN SITTINGBORNE I TAKE. I DIDN'T KNOW HE DONE THE FITTING AS WELL I THOUGHT IT WAS SUPPLY ONLY. ALL THIS IS GETTING ME DOWN NOW, ALL THE WIFE'S FAULT, SHE NAGGED AT ME ALL DAY YESTERDAY, SAYING "I WANT SEATS THAT ARE GOING TO FIT PROPERLY WHAT IF I FALL OFF THEM, THEIR NOT GOING TO LOOK RIGHT"ETC ETC ETC I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PEACE SINCE YESTERDAY. STILL WHAT SHE DOESN'T KNOW YET IS THE NEW ONES WILL BE GOING ON HER PLASTIC  REVENGE AT LAST, AFTER ALL THE GRIEF SHE HAS GIVEN ME. WHAT DOES HE CHARGE FOR FITTING THEM? CHEERS

woody - i wouldnt be too worried about having the existing seat bases cut and welded - in the event of an accident the seatbelt takes the strain and the seat only has to hold its own weight!! :D
so long as the seat belts arnt mounted to the seat

im no law breaker regarding seat belts but there was a case in crawley last year where a mr2 had a big prang and the driver wasnt wearing his belt he shot out thru the screen and slid along the road where as the passenger wearing his belt died of internal injuries due to the seat belt  this just proves seat belts dont always save lives :? a bit like gatso's i have seen a few now with flowers tied to them
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.
