i had a bit of a play round with all the dash gauges i had and not all are the same - its complicated cos im not 100% sure what they were all out of but mk2 escort rs2000 5 potters will fit in a mk2 tranny binnacle but the corners are rounded and you can see a little bit of light through them

ive also got some granada mk2 (4 pot) some where but i cant find them to see if they fit

Is it normal for MK1 Mondeo fuel gauge to not return to Empty when removed from car... if after there removed and stays on half then thats ok? and will read correctly when re-connected

Yes the fuel guage will stay wherever it is when it is turned off. when you fit it it will be OK

Hey sundowner whats the vehicle the clocks are on in the photo - looks like a yellow mk2 transit also have you got a pic of them capri clocks from the back to show how there fitted
