Wanting to changedash board dials on X Reg van

Can anyone assist me on changing my dashboard in an X reg (2000) Mk 6 (I think!!!!!!!!!!!!) to a mondeo style dashboard. Im not the sharpest knife in the drawer but can do with some expert help.
Also when I collected it when doors were locked the interior lights went off and unlocked this reversed and they came on. Now they aint doing that can any one help me with this little quirk please, Ive checked the fuses under the passenger dash panel and they seem okay, just liked it when you unlocked it with remote the internal lights came on , was handy during the dark winter months when you get up for work and its pitch
