Let's have a piccy of some landy wheels fitted to a tranny... what happens with the old holes? in a cosmetic sense?

Just got my 16" Wellers on,
so thought I'd share a few pics -





The wheels are 7X16" Land-Rover Wellers
Tyres are Vancos std Transit size which came on Merc steels

Wheels - 40 quid on ebay
Tyres - 40 quid on ebay
Re-drill - 50 quid at local engineers
Tyre fit - 40 quid at local fitters
Bigger nuts - 10 quid at local breakers

The side door just rubs on the side-wall,
and the tread is just under the arches,
so very happy

Next job is to flare the arches.
I've decided I'm going to have a go at flaring the std arches rather the fit anything on.
I want it looking as factory as poss.

If ya don't like the look of the extra holes just get a bloody great chunk of ally and clamp it to the back, weld up the holes. Weld won't stick to ally and it gives a flush rear surface with no blow through.
Make sure it's a big chunk of ally though or you will melt that instead.
Copper works too.
