lowering mk6 280 swb

Postby petewoolley » Sat Nov 27, 2010 10:32 pm

hi i have been giving some serious thought about lowering my mk6 280 swb, i have had a look under her and i can see no obvious way of doing it, It is running on single leaf springs on the rear which is where i have drawn a blank, the front will be no problem to do but i was wondering if anyone had undertaken this project the lower the better

ok 8) if you look in the shows gallery from fordfair 2010 theres a white mk6 with 22" alloys (not the one with red ones) he had mounted the axle on the other side of the leaf springs - but it was very low  and obviously not as strong so no good if you still want to carry heavy things in the van :D
