16s can take std transit tyres, so they're cheap and easily available.
I bought four vito wheels with conti tyres for 40 quid, with years of tread.

Sticking with std size tyres means the speedo reads right,
and you can drive up curbs like a proper van driver

Here's mine before I flared the rear arches ...



My side door opens with the 195's on the back,
but does rub on the tyre a bit. No drama.

The tread was JUST under the arches.
Fronts are no worries, but rears were a bit naughty,
so I've started flaring my rear arches with a hammer and dolly.
Filler work not finished yet ...

Was that up or up over and through curbs and over rounder-bouts centre reservations over corner curbs, now that is either formula1 drivers or transit owners obviously they both have a common ground best drivers in the world or something like that

vito wheels would fit my van tho redrilled hubs to mercedes pcd
