erm nothing much, this full 2.2 tdci engine is just sat in my van at the minute, i need 1 brandnew 155ps injector, ive allready got 3.
Also ive managed to break my key transponder, so just waiting for a mate to come over and give it a new one.
after this 2.2 is running or not running, i'll decide either way to strip it to inspect the differences, between 2.0, or to just leave it in the van and go from there. :)

Need a tdci DMF also and going to get this to go with.

Another idea ive been having
a 2.0 tddi block with a 2.4 crank in with right pistons and conrods to try and make a 2.2 tddi, then fit the 125ps tddi 2.4 injectors, pump(would it be vp44) and 125ps rwd PCM
ive allready experimented with a 2.0 125ps tdci PCM in a 2.4 135ps tdci van, with good results, only thing that didnt work was speed as the 135ps 6speed has the different VSS.
To do this 2.2 tddi id need a cheap van with engine problem or no engine.

sounds good, get the tdci goin will fly.

how come u want to go tddi, or is that another project?

would a 2.4 crank in a 2.0 block make it a 2.2 with the longer stroke then? Anyway to get a 2.4 mondeo or would the rwd orientation and water outlet on front make that impossible? lol

never get chance to mess about like this, wish i had space and time to play about with engines at home.

yeah tddi just another project.

al i need to do is strip the engine and find out what pistons, conrod length, crank difference and if any other differences like with cams.

2.4 into FWD think it would be possible with not to much hassle,be nice to see how it compared to 2.2 and 2.0.

i wonder why tddi piston rings are thicker than the tdci's??

put a 2.4 crank and con rods in place of 2.0 ones in my original 2.0 tddi block, and piston protusion is spot on :D
one homemade 2.2......... not actually running yet though  i wonder how it would go in a crewcab recovery :?:
