petrol transit project.... ideas wanted

Postby 3037.tm » Sun Jan 30, 2011 10:04 pm

after having a good look at some seriously modded vans on the internet me and a friend have come up with the plan of keeping my swb 96 petrol smiley looking as standard as possible but we want to acheive an increase in power.... as of yet we dont have a fortune to spend but want to acheive as much power as possible without breaking bank accounts and intend on showing a few boy racers up :D
anybody got any ideas on what we could do to make this happen top end speed is not a major issue for us we just want some off the mark power with a touch more top end maybe to shock a few people...... any constructive comments or advice will be greatly appreciated.. thanks

yeah you could but it'd proberbly be cheeper and easier to swap the complete engine :)

problem is you have a good but not very tuneable DOHC engine :(

personally i'd get hold of a big engine car cheap and pull the engine out and stick it in the van 8) summat like a big beemer or a jag :D
