air bag suspension set ups ideas

Postby MONSTER 0NE » Mon Feb 28, 2011 1:19 am

Hi guys,
Im thinking about using airbag suspension on my mk5 and was after some info on possible options of airbags, eg does anyone what the size the air suspension bags are on the p38 range rover and what weight they can handle, or any of the big 4x4's ? as I wanna do this without spending a fortune if possible.
Cheers

I'm fairly sure some range rover or discovery ones would be heavy enough, Although it's not considered the best system in the world, the air bags leak with age as do the valve blocks, which leads to burnt out compressors. On the plus side lots of them in breakers yards so not hard to get parts, try John at Dalcrue for prices www.dalcrueautosalvqge.co.uk
